Resources for leaders

For Circle of Support leaders, pastors, parish and congregation teams, schools, and community groups bringing people to Lansing. Everything you need to rally your community. The SNL team is here to help.

Get started

Mobilize your community in four steps

Help Michigan reach 500 voices in Lansing on December 3. Here is a simple path from first announcement to the bus ride home.

Step 1 · Set a goal

Put your goal on the bulletin board

Choose how many people your community will bring to Lansing, write it on the barometer poster, and hang it where everyone gathers. Color it in as people register. It is a simple, visible way to build momentum week after week.

The poster comes in English and Spanish, is designed to print at poster size (24 × 36 in), and includes a QR code that takes people straight to registration. Every registration also counts toward our statewide goal of 500.

Need printed posters? Contact Paula Salazar Valiente at salazar.p@strangersnolonger.org.

Step 2 · Learn the platform

Understand what we are advocating for

People show up for what they understand and believe in. Before December 3, help your community explore what the 2026 Policy Platform advocates for.

Book a presentation with SNL staff

Invite an SNL staff member to present the Policy Platform to your Circle, parish, congregation or group. A presentation is a great way to build momentum and answer questions in person.

Lead the presentation yourself

Prefer to lead the conversation? Download the updated training presentation SNL staff use (PowerPoint), including the bills we are advocating for, and adapt it for your own meeting.

Watch the recorded presentation

Watch a recording of SNL staff presenting the Policy Platform on your own time, or play it for your group.

Read the platform online

Explore the Five Pillars of Belonging, with testimonials and talking points, and see the Circles of Support and allies who ratified it.
